Koh: Time to rejuvenate Gerakan with young blood (time to change)

Koh: Time to rejuvenate Gerakan with young blood (is hard to encourage the young generation to joint us now, unless we willing to change)

KUALA LUMPUR: Gerakan will focus on bringing in young blood to its leadership in the upcoming party elections and remains unshaken by the resignations of its two senior members. (i always hope this thing can be happen in our johor gerakan)

Acting Gerakan president Tan Sri Dr Koh Tsu Koon said changes in leadership on different levels were to rejuvenate the party.(But please just not restricted in HQ, Johor also need this happen, please)

He stressed that the party would not adopt any quota system to curb the number of young leaders.(I not think gerakan have this culture anyway)

“This is what we will focus on, and I am confident that Datuk Rhina Bhar and Datuk Lee Kah Choon's resignations will not affect the party's morale,” said Koh. (who care this two politic frog, shame on their politic ethical, this is about personal too bad)

“In fact, in the past two weeks alone we have recruited some 5,000 members. This shows that Gerakan is very much alive,” he told reporters after chairing a central committee meeting in Menara PGRM here yesterday. (we also hope so)

Party vice-president and Wanita national chairman Rhina tendered her resignation on Monday, citing racial bias in the leadership.(this is bullshit)

Lee, formerly party deputy secretary-general, resigned to take up the posts of InvestPenang executive chairman and Penang Development Corporation director under the Pakatan Rakyat government last month.

When pressed for comments on Rhina's resignation, Koh said:“It was very unexpected. That is all I am going to say. The secretary-general has said the rest. We will now just focus on our party elections.” (make sure we have good brighter party future)

Rhina Bhar quits Gerakan after 30 years-ANOTHER POLITIC FROG

Rhina Bhar quits Gerakan after 30 years (why you quit now because no senator for you or no more lobang?)

PENANG: Former Gerakan vice-president and Wanita national chairman Datuk Rhina Bhar has quit the party after 30 years, citing racial bias in the leadership. (If you have been disappointed by party for so long than you should choose to resign much earlier . And why at this moment you commented that the party is marginalized Indian ? why don'tyou claiming party marginalized Human being even better, terrifying comments)

“It is impossible for me to continue working under the present conditions,” she said. (what kind of condition you are talking about ? at losing all our seat seat moment? where is your politician ethical?)

“Gerakan is to be a multiracial party but the leaders have been making many racist remarks. Enough is enough,” she said. (why your enough is at this moment, what your enough is not at the moment when we won almost 90% at last election?)

Rhina, 59, who tendered her resignation on Monday, also hit out at Gerakan adviser Datuk Seri Dr Lim Keng Yaik for “practising double standards”.

Rhina also expressed her disappointment over Gerakan acting president Tan Sri Dr Koh Tsu Koon’s comments for not fielding any Indian candidates in the last general election. ( than should party give all the seat to you even better right ?)

Both Dr Koh and Dr Lim could not be reached for comments.

The Bukit Bendera Gerakan Wanita chief said she was taking a break from politics to “heal her broken heart.” (than you are trying to break our heart right? you are very disappointing us as well, what the hell of politic concept you have ? leaving party when the party losing 90% of seats?)

“But I am keeping my options open to consider joining other political parties or non-governmental organisations, which can provide me an opportunity to serve the people,” she added.(politic opportunistic) from some of Johor gerakan comments

Lim Guan Eng -is Taiwan Ah Bian? Best actor for Oscar?

Firstly, DAP have a actor culture, LGE have won the seat in Penang, he supposed to work hard and keep quiet in this moment, I think LGE have problem in DAP itself due to his acting character. Penang issue just a standard issue, LGE is trying to make it as a big issue and misleading the penangite that he is working. Initially penangite may have the impression that he is working hard, but subsequently i think penangite will get fed up by all this movie acting, all the movie that LGE acted is boring, do you think that all malaysian is so stupid to just watching movie of DAP? I not think so, serve people still need a basic, work hard and serve the people sincerely instead of work nothing talking a lot. LGE is Taiwan Ah Bian, during LGE is a opposition, he is keep complaint and complaint a lot, however this have be come a habit, and the worst thing is this is become a culture of DAP, exactly like Taiwan Ah Bian right ? I think LGE will self acting and directing another movie like ah bian in Taiwan in the next election, whereby arrange a assassination movie to get the sympathy of Penangite, all this rubbish and bullshit politician should disappear in Our politic Culture.

What we need is a sincere and hard working politician, not a good actor.
Finally Ask Khoo Kay peng to fuck off this politic young bird is talking nonsense, who is this guy never heard of him, just because we lost our seat than he frogging to DAp and start shoooting our gerakan leader, go to hell lah Bodek

Gerakan VP: Guan Eng naive, ignorant or playing politics

Gerakan VP: Guan Eng naive, ignorant or playing politics
Jason ANG comments: Lim Guan Eng more than above he is stupid, bullshit and trying to make movie by his own.

PENANG: Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng is naive, ignorant or merely playing politics, says Gerakan.

Its vice-president Datuk Dr Teng Hock Nan said that Lim seemed to be asking questions through the media for answers which he could easily get from his officers, reports, documents and briefings.

“I am saying he is naive because all the questions he has been asking can be easily obtained because he has access to all the information,” he told a press conference yesterday.

Dr Teng said this showed that Lim was not ready to take on responsibility as a chief minister.

“I do not know whether to call him Chief Minister or just Lim Guan Eng,” he said.

Dr Teng, who is a former state executive councillor, also hit out at Lim for asking him and former chief minister Tan Sri Dr Koh Tsu Koon to apologise to Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi for misleading the latter on the proposed RM25bil Penang Global City Centre (PGCC) project.

Lim had said that Abdullah was invited to launch the proposed project last year when the Penang local authorities had yet to approve the project.

Dr Teng said he was appalled that Lim had made such baseless statements.

“The Prime Minister was fully aware during the soft launch that the local authorities had yet to approve the planning permit.

“That was why the Prime Minister requested the state government to facilitate the process,” he said, adding that the project was proposed on private land owned by the Penang Turf Club.

Dr Teng also clarified that it was the developer who invited the Prime Minister and state authorities as part of their marketing strategy.

Meanwhile, Lim said he regretted Dr Teng’s personal attack against him.

He said all the state government wanted, when it questioned why the Prime Minister was invited to launch the PGCC project when it had yet to be approved by the local authorities, were answers based on facts.

“Instead of answering the state government’s questions to him, Dr Teng has launched a personal attack against me,” Lim told reporters after receiving a courtesy call from Korean ambassador to Malaysia Bong Ryull Yang.

Lim said he would reply to Dr Teng today.

BN Component Parties 'Like Beggars', Says Keng Yaik

BN Component Parties 'Like Beggars', Says Keng Yaik

Kong See Hoh, The Sun

PETALING JAYA (May 12, 2008): Gerakan adviser Datuk Seri Dr Lim Keng Yaik has likened MCA, Gerakan and MIC to "beggars" in the Barisan Nasional (BN) as the coalition did not treat its component parties equitably.

Criticising the lack of equitability in BN, Lim stressed that although the constitution guarantees the special rights of the Malays, it also safeguards the rights of non-Malays.

He said he believed that the people, who had indicated in the recent general election their desire for multi-racial parties to work together, would also want the BN to become a multi-racial political set-up which treats all people equitably.

Lim said this in an interview with Sin Chew Daily in which he gave his views on the new political order in the country and the shape of things to come.

The former Gerakan president and former Energy, Water and Communications Minister predicted that Umno-led BN's model of cooperation will be discarded by the people one day.

He also foresaw that the coalition will change the way it operates given another two general elections.

He felt that under such circumstances, race-based parties like Umno, MCA and MIC will have to disband if BN goes multi-racial.

He said over-emphasis on cooperation among race-based parties will not make the people comfortable.

The people not only hope to see BN become a coalition of multi-racial parties but also want BN to play roles that reflect its multi-racial characteristics.

Lim pointed out that 39 years after the May 13, 1969, riots, the people have seen through the domination of a race-based party.

He said the fact that there was no repeat of the (May 13) bloodshed when the Opposition won big this time around showed the maturity of the people.

He said although Gerakan espouses political multi-racialism, it suffered a major setback in the general election mainly because its candidates were fielded in non-Malay-majority constituencies.

"Why were the non-Malays angry with BN? (It's) Because of the arrogance of Umno, the dominant party in BN. Many people also felt uneasy with the racist remarks made by Umno leaders. These had also caused all BN component parties to suffer in the polls."

He believed that if BN takes the multi-racial path, at least Umno leaders would be more careful with what they say in the future.
